Benefits
Health Insurance
Colonial offers two health insurance plans to all eligible full-time
employees. Both health plans are offered through Kaiser Permanente
and Colonial pays a substantial premium contribution towards
employee health insurance. The plans offered are Kaiser Select,
a health maintenance organization (HMO) plan, and Kaiser
Flex Choice, a three-tiered plan. The Flex Plan offers the flexibility
of a choosing between an HMO option, a preferred provider option,
and an out-of-network option.
Dental Insurance
Colonial offers dental insurance for all eligible full-time employees
through Guardian Dental Preferred insurance plan. Employees pay the
full cost of coverage.
Life and AD&D Insurance
All eligible full-time employees are automatically covered for life
insurance in the amount of $5,000 and for accidental death and
dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to the employee.
After three years of service, your life insurance coverage increases,
the amount depending on whether you are an hourly or salaried
employee.
Disability Insurance
Short-term disability insurance is provided by Colonial to both
eligible hourly and salaried full-time employees; long-term
disability insurance is provided for all salaried employees.
Employee Assistance Program
The employee assistance program is a 24 hour a day/7 day a week
Hotline that provides confidential counseling and referral to community
resources to all employees and their dependents at no cost to employees.
It provides assistance with personal/family/work related issues and may
be accessed by calling 1-800-765-0770.
Pension Plan
Colonial Parking provides two benefits programs to assist employees in their retirement. The Pension Plan is offered to all employees who meet eligibility requirements. These requirements specify that an employee work a minimum number of hours during a pension year. Specific information about yearly eligibility, vesting and specific benefits are available in the Summary Plan Description (SPD). The SPD is distributed to all full-time employees at the conclusion of their introductory period and periodically as needed.
Profit Sharing Plan
Colonial Parking also provides a Profit Sharing Plan. Each year, as company profits permit, a contribution is made to this plan on behalf of all eligible employees. Vested employees receive a distribution from the Profit Sharing Plan upon retirement or at the end of their employment relationship with the Company. Specific details about eligibility, vesting and benefits of the plan are available in the Human Resources Department.
No Interest Loans
Each employee is eligible for a no interest loan whose amount is
a product of years of service. Assuming no outstanding loans, the
employee may draw upon the amount at their discretion. Larger loans
are available based on an application and review process.
